The project is designed to maximise the coverage of preventive health examinations in remote municipalities in the Primorie Territory (towns of Arsenyev, Dalnegorsk, Dalnerechensk and Lesozavodsk and the municipalities of Anuchino, Chuguyevka, Kavalerovo, Krasnoarmeysky and Yakovlevka) and offer home-delivered medications to local residents.
Recipients of these services are identified and supported by Russian Post, which is the investor and service provider.
Intended social outcomes:
- increase the coverage of regular health examinations and medical screening;
- increase the number of people receiving home-delivered medications and increase health status information available to healthcare providers about them.
The desired social outcomes are to be achieved through a simple and effective mechanism: mail carriers will contact local residents in person.
If the project is successful, it is intended that it will be extended to other regions.
