Sovereign External Debt

The sovereign external debt of the Russian Federation being accounted by VEB.RF comprises liabilities under Russian sovereign bonds, foreign government loans and particular agreements with international financial organizations (IFO).

In the capacity of an agent of the Government of the Russian Federation for the accounting of sovereign external debt, VEB.RF effects :

• keeping a record, servicing and repayment of the sovereign external debt of the Russian Federation;
• participation in the work of the Government of the Russian Federation on the issues related to the period of the former USSR.
